In this section, we consider research involving any animals apart from humans. The animal microbiome under consideration can be from insects to blue whales and can relate to any part of the animal (e.g. gut, oral, vaginal).
For consideration in Microbiome, we are looking for studies that contribute to novel insights and provide a pivotal change in our understanding of the mechanics behind the formation, function and response of animal microbiomes.
