Random forest models were generated to identify microbial taxa differentially abundant between sampling platforms. A Feature scores were generated from the random forest model to denote the Top 5 ASVs by plotting the increase in mean error rate following removal from the decision tree. B Boxplots were generated to visualize the distribution of ASVs identified by the random forest model and an analysis of variance (ANOVA) was generated to test significance (p < 0.05) between sampling platforms
