Nodes represent ARG subtypes, and/or families and edges (i.e., connections between ARG subtypes and bacterial families) indicate strong and significant (padj < 0.01) pairwise correlations (spearman rho > 0.80). The size of each node is proportional to the number of connections (i.e., degree), and the edge thickness is proportional to the Spearman correlation coefficient (rho 0.80–0.99). The network consists of 207 nodes and 320 edges with a modularity index of 0.82, indicating that the obtained network had a modular structure.
