Brevundimonas SPF441 is a prey for Tetrahymena. Survival of Brevundimonas SPF441 when co-cultured with T. thermophila and T. pyriformis, in plate counting broth (a). Brevundimonas SPF441 suspended alone in plate counting broth was used as the control. Growth (Tx/T0) of T. thermophila (b) and T. pyriformis (c) fed with Brevundimonas SPF441, in 10 mM Tris (pH 7.5) and incubated at 30 °C and 25 °C, respectively. As a control, the two ciliates species were incubated in 10 mM Tris without feeding of Brevundimonas SPF441 at the same temperatures mentioned above
