Cell viability was determined using a cell counting kit (CCK)-8 assay with treatment by free MP1 and PEG-PCL-MP1 at the same MP1 dose and MP1-free PEG-PCL micelles with the same micelle amount as PEG-PCL-MP1 and with incubation for 24 h. Statistical analysis is by 2-way ANOVA. The only statistically significant difference found is marked by an asterisk (p = 0.028). Error bars show the mean ± SD
