Microbiomes of depressed patients are sufficient to increase SFB/SAA-2/Th17 cell pathway in the intestines of the mice. Fecal SFB (A), intestinal IL-17A (B), SAA1 (C), SAA2 (D), and SAA3 (E) were analyzed by q-PCR (SFB) and qRT-PCR, respectively (all the others), in mice receiving stools from healthy controls and depressed patients.
