Diversity and biogeography of the intestinal mycobiome of day-42 chickens. The digesta was collected from different gastrointestinal segments from 12 broiler chickens on day 42 and subjected to DNA isolation and ITS2 sequencing. a Shannon Index showing α-diversity of the intestinal mycobiome.
