Fresh cultures of the three F. prausnitzii and C. minuta reference strains were stained with SYTO 9 and propidium iodide, and with specific antibodies and were then sorted in increasing amounts on mGAM plates to calculate the percentage of cultivability. Experiments were performed two times in triplicates
