A graphic summary of the study design and the proposal of microecological Koch’s postulates in WFS. Firstly, the dysbiotic microbiota is characterized in similar composition in all diseased individuals. Then, the dysbiotic microbiota can be retrieved and transplanted to health individuals. The third postulate is that the transplanting IM can lead to similar symptom as in diseased ones. Lastly, it is necessary to recharacterize that the dysbiotic composition remains stable in the newly diseased individuals
