The relative abundance of Campylobacter in fecal samples in 103–Preston broth was significantly higher than in other procedures. In the case of Escherichia-Shigella, the relative abundance was reduced, compared to feces, but was still present in large proportions in the process of 101-/102-Bolton broth enrichment. In the case of Proteus, the relative abundance increased during the enrichment process in both enrichment broths, at all ratios of sample-to- broth, with the exception of 103-Bolton broth
