Bacterial culture supernatant (BCS) from L. murinus CR147 exerts anti-inflammatory effects on Caco-2 cells. Caco-2 cells were stimulated with TNF-α at 10 ng/mL and simultaneously treated with BCS from L. murinus or sterile MRS medium (10%, v/v) for 6 h. The levels of secreted IL-8 in the culture supernatant were measured by ELISAs. Control, negative control without TNF-α. Data are shown as the mean ± s.e.m. n = 4 for all groups. Values of each group with the same letters are not significantly different by one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Tukey’s post hoc test. n.d., non-detectable
