Mice challenged with 5 × 106 CD3017 spores following antibiotic pretreatment were parsed into two groups: moribund (those mice that required euthanasia, n = 4) and recovered (mice that survived CDI, n = 9) with the differential abundances of OTUs immediately prior to C. difficile infection analyzed using DESeq2 in R. p values were corrected using the Benjamini-Hochberg false discovery rate (FDR) procedure and a corrected alpha value cutoff of <0.1 used for inclusion
